Terms of Service

Last updated 17 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Narra Warranty for the use of Narra Warranty. By creating a shop you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.

If you are a customer holding a warranty, these terms are not yours to accept. Your warranty is an agreement between you and the shop that sold to you. We record it and prove it has not been altered; we do not honour it, repair anything, or decide a claim. Those are the shop's obligations, and the terms printed on your warranty are the ones that govern it.

What the service does

Narra Warranty records warranties you issue, seals each one so later alteration is detectable, sends your customer a link, and keeps a log of claims. It gives anyone holding a warranty a way to check that it is genuine and unchanged.

It does not issue Official Receipts or sales invoices. Every warranty says so on its face. Your BIR obligations are unchanged and remain entirely yours.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your staff do with the access you give them. Keep your password to yourself and give each staff member only the permissions their job needs.

You must be authorised to act for the shop you register, and the details you put on your warranties: the shop name, address and contact details your customers will rely on: must be true.

What you are responsible for

  • The warranty itself. You write the terms and you honour them. We check nothing about whether they are fair, lawful or achievable. The editor points out things Republic Act 7394 asks a written warranty to state, as a convenience: it is not legal advice and not a finding that your terms comply.
  • What you enter. The item, the amount, the dates and the customer's contact details are yours to get right. A warranty is sealed when issued, so a mistake cannot be edited afterwards: void it and issue a new one.
  • Telling your customers. You are the controller of your customers' personal information. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter their details and for answering their privacy requests. See our Privacy Notice.

Plans and payment

The free plan allows 30 warranties a calendar month, counted in Philippine time. Paid plans are billed monthly in pesos, in advance, and renew until cancelled.

Cancel any time; the month you have paid for runs to its end and is not refunded pro rata. If a payment fails, the shop returns to the free plan when the paid period expires: nothing already issued is lost or hidden.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change never applies to a period already paid for.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise a particular level of uptime. Issuing a warranty needs a connection, because the seal and reference are produced by the server. Warranties already saved as PDFs stay readable without us.

Your records are yours

The warranties you issue and your customer records belong to you. We claim no ownership and use them only to run the service.

Every warranty prints as a PDF whose seal can be verified without us, so the documents your customers hold keep working whatever happens to this service. If you close your account you may ask for your records first; we keep them for 30 days after closure, then delete them.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to issue warranties for sales that did not happen, to impersonate another shop, to send anything to people who did not buy from you, or to attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the system. We may suspend an account doing any of these, and will tell you why.

Ending it

You may close your shop at any time. We may end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of the section above. If we end it without cause we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost business.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Philippine law: including your customers' rights under Republic Act 7394, which these terms do not affect.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms materially we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you would rather not, close your account and we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.

These terms are governed by Philippine law, and the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction.
